Sports stars and celebrities gather in London to attend the Beyond Sport Summit
This year’s Beyond Sport Summit took place in London from July 23-25. Guests included numerous legends from the world of sport. Muhammad Ali, David Beckham, Michael Johnson, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Ian Thorpe, Michelle Kwan, Bob Beamon and Francois Piennar to name just a few. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair appeared as Chairman of the Beyond Sport Ambassadors.The Beyond Sport Summit is a unique annual event designed to celebrate, promote and drive forward sport-led social change. Using a unique combination of networking opportunities, insightful panels and action-led working sessions, it collides those who use sport as a vehicle to create social impact with influencers from the world of business, government and federations whose attitudes and decisions can have substantial impact.
