Top Chocolatier Expands Award Winning Business

Iain Burnett The Highland Chocolatier, based at his purpose built chocolate kitchens in Grandtully, Highland Perthshire, is quadrupling the size of his production area due to increasing demand.

 

Iain said “Although the country is in deep recession, the quality of what we produce is just not affected because at times like this, the consumer treats themselves to high quality produce. Entertaining at home has never been more popular and delivering great quality to your guests is so important. The Velvet Truffle is quite unique with its texture and flavour profile with cocoa from Sao Tome, combined with Scottish cream from a local dairy at Crieff, Perthshire and gives a perfect end to the meal.”

 

Iain is used to achieving a high standard and consisitancy with his products since it is a requirement when supplying such a demanding clientele such as Michelin starred chefs and 5 star establishments such as Claridges, The Lanesborough, Gleneagles and restaurants such as the 3 Michelin Star Gordon Ramsay Royal Hospital Road, to name just a few.

 

With quality at such a high level, it was no surprise that International markets would inevitably beckon and in the last few months, the business has also expanded into export by supplying Japan, Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Germany whilst China and the USA are also being considered.

 

Since the brand, Iain Burnett The Highland Chocolatier began over 5 years ago, awards have been accumulating including countless nominations in food and tourism related events.
