Bupa employees become ‘Bupaheroes’ for an evening
Last week saw Brighton based healthcare company, Bupa International, reward employee achievements at an awards ceremony at the Thistle Hotel, Brighton. The Bupa International Outstanding Achievement Awards recognise, reward and celebrate outstanding staff performance and this year’s event theme was “Bupaheroes”.
The awards have run for many years but this was the first international event with staff from Spain, Denmark and the United Arab Emirates recognised as well as those from the UK.
Awards were themed around various cartoon superheroes, to celebrate staff who go above and beyond the day job, to ‘save the day’ for Bupa customers.
Organised by Bupa International’s Head Office in Brighton, the awards ceremony was produced by AVT Connect, with personalised videos of each award recipient taking the guise of various cartoon superheroes.
A bespoke stage set was designed, creating a larger than life comic strip backdrop to the awards. A series of short, snappy video clips introduced finalists, showing them changing from ordinary employee to superhero – complete with full costume change!
The leadership team at Bupa International also dressed up as Batman, Robin and other well known cartoon characters to join in the fun.
