The Charity Frock Shop – A unique pop-up event
St Saviour’s Church, Pimlico, London, SW1V 3QW
Saturday 14th April 2012 – 10am till 4pm
We are looking to get 200 amazing women to donate a favourite dress to the Charity Pop-Up Frock Shop, including a number of fashion-concious celebrities. All the dresses will be for resale, with all proceeds to go to HopeHIV. The event is planned for Saturday 14th April 2012 at St Saviours in Pimlico.
The Charity Frock Shop is a unique opportunity to put some Spring cleaning to good effect: to clean out your wardrobe, donate a dress or two to a great cause then replenish your wardrobe, get a makeover and enjoy a cake with friends. Plus everyone who donates a dress before 7th April 2012 is in with a chance to win the ultimate frock accessory – a £200 Selfridges Gift Card – just for donating a dress.
The Charity Frock Shop is a 12in’12 event. 12in’12 is a year long fundraiser where a team of individuals, including two 2012 Olympic Torchbearers, are each undertaking 12 sporting challenges during 2012 to collectively raise £250,000 for HopeHIV. Challenges include Bog Snorkeling, Half Marathons, Cycling London to Paris, 3 Peaks, the London Virgin Triathlon, Adventure Racing, Glen Nevis River Race and many, many more.
